Standard sizes of our tiles are 3/8" x 3/8" (10mm x 10mm), 1" x 1" (25mm x 25mm), 2" x 2" (51mm x 51mm), 4" x 4" (102mm x 102mm), 8" x 8" (204mm x 204mm) and 12" x 12" (305mm x 305mm). Other shapes and dimensions can be custom-manufactured if required.

Solid tiles can be cut to various sizes and almost any thickness, limited only by the rough material's dimensions. The maximum size of a solid tile normally is 8" x 8" (204mm x 204mm). Some gemstones, e.g. Malachite, will only allow solid tiles of 2" x 2" (51mm x 51mm). You will find the maximum sizes for each individual gemstone in our price lists. The thickness of our standard tiles is about 6mm for small sizes and 7-8mm for the larger dimensions.

Mosaic tiles are slightly thicker than solid tiles. The mosaic gemstone pattern is laminated to a base of ceramic, man-made stone, marble, granite, aluminium or to a matt. Mosaic parts can be manufactured in almost any sizes, shapes and designs making them the ideal choice for sinks, countertops and other bathroom interior. Checkerboard-tiles can be manufactured with any combination of two or more gemstone-types.

Easy cleaning: Most gemstones have the same hardness as granite (approx. 6.5 mohs). Even the softest ones are still harder than marble (3.5 mohs). Simply clean your gemstone tiles and products like granite or marble. We recommend using Miracle care products. To glue we recommend Akemi products.
